Spacing for booth, motif and alternate motifs

I can only adjust one spacing when I use alternate motif.
It would be nice to have for booth motifs a space setting

I experimented and yes you're correct. But try this
Make 2 of the same object, with 2 different motifs, and play with the settings to get the spacing you want.

I think it's because the motifs are placed in columns and rows, kind of like a spreadsheet. Imagine a motif in each cell. They're all evenly spaced.

The only workaround I figured out was to make 2 separate motifs that had the same length before making them into a motif.

Hi, favymtz I know what you mean. Working with layers is the only way to get that result, but would it not be nice to do that using alternate motifs and change the row or column spacing on both separate?

Working with layers is also nice to work with more colors. I have a youtube video about that. Anyway, thank you so much for your replay.
