Change default option when inserting vector image

When selecting an EPS file to insert into Hatch, the "As bitmap" field is automatically checked and I have to remember to uncheck it. If I'm inserting a vector, I want it to be a vector, not a bitmap.

It would be nice if there were some sort of preference setting for that.
