Remove Small Stitches

It would be incredibly handy to be able to "remove small stitches" from individual items instead of across a whole design. 

I second this, would be very useful - no need to achieve  this with workarounds

Indeed. Currently, for small areas of larger items either I have to cut it out and make it a satin stitch or go in and manually delete all of the interior stitches, I usually do the latter, but sometimes the former works well enough.
