Applique Functions

I am working in Hatch 2. I am trying to setup file with a rectangular twill patch that will stitch down with a satin edge. I am trying to figure out how I can start with a tack down stitch followed by a stop, then have the machine present the hoop to me so that I can easily place the twill patch. After the patch is down I want to hit start and have it finish the stitching. That being said, I cannot seem to figure out how to add stops or provide a command to the machine to "present" the hoop out to me so that it is not under the head where I cannot see clearly where to drop in the twill patch. Thanks in advance. I have attached the file that I have now that is working with the stops but I did not add them, this came from a digitizer friend that I have used in the past. Trying to punch all of my own designs moving forward.
