Multi-hooping and out of boundary on Bernina

I'm trying to do a multi-hoop design in Hatch 3 using the Bernina 165x265 hoop and when I export it and load it onto my machine it tells me the design is out of the embroidery boundary, so the hoop turns red and it can't be stitched. How can I do the multi-hooping in Hatch with a boundary within the hoop design so it doesn't try to stitch close to the hoop?
