Are you really serious about doing this to us as ambitious hobbyists at Wilcom/Hatch?

Received from today
Hatch2: V2.1D R3 9 Jul 2020 (129-20161) [eea67651]
to
Hatch3: V3.0.0 May 30, 2022 (25.0.89.20830) [97b6b677]
updated.
And can now only work on one computer with Hatch 3.
But the computer is also used in the sewing room – or vice versa.
I love Linux - Debian and work with Inkscape, Gimp ... started embroidering with InkStitch now at Hatch \o/ [would love Hatch much more when it work under Linux ;-)][main language: german and a bit pidgin denglish]

A bit off topic, but not completely: where did you find the installation file? I did (paid) the upgrade today but nowhere any link to that file and Wilcom is sleeping now.

mfG,
Walter.

In profile.hatchembroidery.com/sessions I see now:

Sessions

The devices you’re signed in to are listed below. If you see unfamiliar devices or locations, click “End Session” and then change your password.
You can be signed in to a maximum of 2 devices but can use Hatch software on 1 device only.
If you wish to sign into Hatch on a different computer, you can click 'Sign out and release license' from the File menu in the active Hatch software.

 now I know it but still not happy.

mfG,

I found the link in my hatchembroidery.com/account.php?action=order_status Order Status in the Details of Order in my Bill :-)

Was a bit confusing - first they write Restart Hatch 2 and so on, but that don't work. The Link in your Bill will work than. Or the Download of the 30 day test version do same too.

Hello,
You did not actually lose anything. You can only work on one computer at a time. Your license is for one user. Hatch is a single-user license. It always has been a single-user license. You can be signed into a maximum of 2 devices but can use Hatch software on 1 device only.

You can install Hatch on as many computers as you like, but only have an active license on 2 computers and only run Hatch on one computer at a time. Hatch is a single-user license.
You may run the software offline but must be connected at least one time every 30 days. If not, the software will ask you to sign in while online to check for updates, etc.
