Keyboard shortcuts to hide objects
Is there a way to set a keyboard shortcut to hide the currently selected object? I know the H key is reserved for shape editing but it would be nice to not have to constantly right click in the color/object list each time I want to hide an object. Would be great to click the object and then a hotkey to make it go away or better yet to toggle its visibility until I escape or select a different object.

Reference Images
I digitize a lot a designs where it would be useful if the reference image could be freely placed above any object and not always below it. Currently it seems like the reference image is always on the bottom which mostly makes sense but having the option to set the transparency of the image and the ability to move it anywhere in the sequence list would help with making digitizing decisions while not having to hide any object already digitized. Imagine a cherry tree where I want to digitize the cherries last but want to be mindful how I place them in relation to leaves I already digitized. In the current implemetnation, I would need to hide the leaves to see the background image or obstruct the background image by unhiding the leaves. Probably not the best example but you get my point.

Open/Closed Digitizing tools defaulting to Outline

It would be nice if the software allowed a way for the user to toggle on and off persistent settings for the digitizing tools. What I mean is if I use the digitize closed shape tool, it defaults to outline mode. If I change it to fill and then switch to another tool and then select the digitize closed shape tool again, it defaults back to creating outlines instead of fills. Couldn't a toggle button be implemented that would allow the tool to remember the last setting that was used and give us the option to have it remember? The digitize open shape tool currently remembers the stitch type that was last selected like single run, backstitch, etc so it would be nice for the outline/fills to work the same way. It does seem to remember the last fill type tho but it would be nice for it to remember that I'm on a fill creation rampage :-) I dont really see a disadvantage of having it default to the last used tool as the user could just simply select line if that's what they want instead of forcing the user who is switching numerous times between these two tools to reselect fill each time. Hope that made sense.

Exporting parts of a design to stitch out
Currently there doesn't appear to be a way to stitch out just part of a design. I've tried locking and hiding all layers that I do not want to stitch out but the software exports even the hidden/locked layers. Is this supported? I can copy and paste the object to a new document and export it but was wondering if this was possible from within the current design.
