How to make a Template

I am new to Hatch and I am wondering about creating templates for things that I will be making over and over again. I could not find anything in the manual or online research so I am hoping someone has advice or can point me in the right direction.

It's quite simple but you need to follow a few rules.
Open a blank design. Make sure no other designs are open at this time.
Create your template setup as you want it
Then File Menu > Save as template
Then give your template a name. (such as Christmas monogram). Do NOT write over the Hatch template
Now close all designs including that template.

When you want to use that template > click File Menu > Open from template > select your template and open.
