As far as I can tell, it is only possible to *print* design information. Is there any way to save a design information file like the one you can see in the print preview?

The software also provides information about designs in other ways.
Before even opening a design, you can check design information directly from Windows Explorer.

The design info file is embedded to the design file.
But cannot be separately saved like .txt file.

We can request for an improvement request.
Please advise why the need for a design information in a separate file on top of what's inside the design itself?
Is there any machine that will not accept the design without the design information in a separate file? If there is , please let us know which machine that is?
