kooee@yahoo.co.uk Posted 1 year 6 months ago

I have general settings I really don't want to be changing all the time like
Satin spacing is set to 36 and i use 40
I always have tie in tie off
Underlay I have switched off
just waisting so much time altering every single setting

Is there a way of changing and saving these settings

thanks

Hello,
The settings you mentioned are adjusted based on the auto fabric type you have selected. If you do not want to use an auto fabric type you can uncheck it.
Once unchecked you can change these settings and then save that over the Hatch template. (File Menu > Save template).
Before you save over your default template, be sure that there is no designs only. Only a blank file otherwise that design will become part of your template.

To do this same idea I created a template with all of the settings that I like.
To do this, open a new design page, choose the Auto Fabric type you want (example Pure Cotton)
pretend you're making a design choosing the stitches etc that you want and the setting that you want for them.
Then, File, Save As Template, give it a new name
To use it you do this:
File:
New From Template

Note that this will not change the original Pure Cotton recipe

Hello,
Yes, you can do that way also. There are several ways and it's okay to find the one that works for you.
