I have lettering set in a design using the Run Block. I need it to tie off/lock stitch after each letter and between words. How do I do that? Can I do it after the lettering is set or do I need to change a setting and then put the lettering back in?

Hello,
Select the letters > open object properties > click on the stitching tab
Set tie in and tie off to "always'.

I would not think you'd want your machine to trim between the letters as your trimmers would make knots on the back that probably would show on this run stitch type of lettering.

I did what you said and saved and it didn't work. I have 2 words that are at least 1/4 inch apart and it's got a connecting stitch between them. I suppose I could enter it as 2 separate words to fix it but I'm still confused as to why your instructions don't seem to work.

Please go to support and submit a ticket and attach your design. We will have a look at it.
Be sure to attach both the original EMB where you first created the letters
Also the design you saved to stitch on your machine.
Indicate your machine brand/model and format you are saving to.
And what version of Hatch you are using
