Trouble creating desired stitching

Hi, I’ve just started embroidering using the hatch software and a Brother PE-800 however I’m running into issues when I digitise and embroider my designs.
I currently create simple designs on photoshop (solid blocks of colour, minimal detail, strong outlines) and use the digitising tool on hatch to automatically digitise the images into an embroidering format. However, I’ve so far run into two problems I can’t find the answers to on any tutorial videos.

1- My first trial using the machine and software was of a small tiger on the breast pocket of a jumper. I imported the design, digitised it and shrunk it down to the right size in comparison to my selected machine and hoop on the software. However when I ran the machine, I found that the small design used WAYYYY to many stitches. The jumper warped around the design, and the finished embroidery was hardly recognisable as my design (as shown in the image attached).

2- My second attempt was a much more simple design featuring a continuous line drawing of a face. I used solid black lines, and digitised it on hatch. The design took up most of the hoop size (I went bigger this time as I though scale might have been the issue with my last attempt). However when I ran the machine, it kept jumping front area to area instead of following the single line, and ended up creating this train track pattern everywhere instead of the solid line I wanted.

If anyone knows where I messed up I’d love to learn how to fix the issues and not run into them again in the future. Thanks heaps

Hello! I'm not familiar with your machine, but I've seen your problem a few times.
To start with, are you embroidering directly to your garment without any support backing or enough support backing? The tiger looks like it needs more or a more rigid backing material.

On the faces, it looks as though the bobbin thread is too loose or it's not picking up the bobbin thread, leaving only the top thread. Most of the time, this is detected by the machine, but it could be grabbing the thread in a way that it doesn't trip the sensor. This happens to me at times on my commercial machines.
Can you upload an image of the back of the designs? Or maybe the files themselves

Thanks for your response! When I digitalise the designs it says backing X2, so I’ve been double layering a standard tear away backing. I’ll double check the bobbin next time I insert it to make sure it’s feeding through correctly.
