Hi all!
I am very new to Hatch and have been trying to learn as much as I can from the package when purchased and by searching this forum. I am looking for some help with the following (I'm giving as much information that I can - to hopefully help...
)
I am sewing small letters (for names) and have used the block 2 (that came with Hatch), increased the density a bit and have moved the letter "N"slightly away from the ï"so that the I is not scrunched. Using 40 thread, 11 needle.
When sewing it out, there are holes in the letters. I have attached the hatch images and the sewn out ones (top one is not trimmed, bottom one is trimmed).
I hope someone can help me so as not to have these holes as it looks so unprofessional.
Look forward to your comments and suggestions.

Hello
Please find a link to maximum and minimum sizes for fonts
www.embroideryhelp.net/hatch/digitizer/e...luded-with-digitizer
For Block 2
Minimum: 0.25 in/ 6 mm
Maximum1.6 in/ 40 mm
Hope that helps!
Thanks
Rebecca

Rebecca,
The size is 10 mm, so well under the maximum size.

Hi, I hope you have found your solution by now but if not, try to use a 60 weight thread. In your image, the top tension looks to be a little loose also.
Was your fabric hooped?
What type of stabilizer were you using?

Kim, yes the fabric was hooped and I did check the tension.
I will try the 60 wt for future problems.
I finally used a different font and it worked out great.
