Using Wilcom with Melco EMT16 Plus Embroidery Machine

Ok, I am trying the Wilcom Hatch 2.0 30 day trial. I have spent hours trying to create designs.. No mater what Machine Format that I transfer or save a design in, it will not work correctly on this machine. The only format that becomes close is .JEF..

.jef files are the only ones that load into the machine with the correct colors. However, everything else is missing. Such as trims.

It is like the machine re-digitizes everything into less and combined parts and changes the colors to all the wrong color threads.. I have yet to get a design from Wilcom Hatch to sew out correctly.

Does anyone know any settings that will work correctly?

Sorry to hear about the problems you are experiencing. When you say it is not working correctly, what exactly do you mean? It won't stitch, colors not showing?

A Melco should read a .EXP and .DST.

One thing to note is that a machine will not be able to reach an embroidery file like Hatch does. Hatch has objects which only work or can be reshaped in Hatch. When you export that design to a machine stitch file format it is just stitches, and not objects. The other point to note is that some machine file formats do not remember colors. i.e. DST has no colors so the design will look wrong on the machine.
