file Start/stop point on Ambience quilting

I want to use stippling around a design so I clicked Ambience quilting. I can create the stippling but the start/stop point is right near the middle of the design and will end up being very noticeable. I've tried to move the starting point and the green icon moves but it won't let me move the stop point and when I run the player I see that even though I moved the start point, it's still starting near the middle of the design. Is there any way to move the start/stop point when you choose Ambience quilting?

Hi

Would you be able to attach the design to the post, we can take a look at it.

I hope I added this right. It's a zip file of my Hatch design where I tried to move the start/stop point and only was able to move the start point on the screen but in player mode, it shows it didn't move.

Thank you for attaching the design.

With run objects there is no way to change the start and end points in hatch.

As a workaround

If you have Corel you can do it by converting the stipple run to vector, weld the object in Corel.

This produces a closed run, the start/end points of which can be reshaped.

1. Select stipple run
2. Convert to vector (Convert Embroidery to Artwork - Vector)
3. Select vector (Object>Shaping>Weld) - this will create a closed curve
4. Convert to Artwork
5. Click Reshape and move start/end point
