Digitizing Closed Shapes - Satin fill

When I use the Digitize Blocks > Satin Fill without Feathered Edge on and follow the directions from John Deer's class doing any kind of curved shape I get the Feathered Edge look only on the curved portions of the shape I am doing. I realize I am incorrectly digitizing something but I do not know what. I have my grid set to meters and i have tried both 10 mm and 1 mm grid setup. I am using 3:1 while I am putting in the nodes and I have added and subtracted the amount of nodes I have put in.   I am using the trial version so I only have a few days left to figure out if I can use this program or not. I assume it is a digitizing problem since it happens with the Auto digitizing also.  Please look at the wheels on the carriage to see that they have the feathered look also. Thank you.
