Hi. This is kind of a long question but I feel you need the background. I was having trouble updating my Windows PC to Windows 10 2004 (from windows 10 1909) and ended up re-installing a clean install of Windows 10 so now I need to re-install Hatch 2. Problem is, when I tried to install, I got a blue screen and the install was stopped. I found this answer (
https://help.hatchembroidery.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001557975-Hatch-v2-installation-fails-Or-blue-screen-saying-there-is-a-problem-with-aksfridge-sys-
) which told me to install 'the latest HASP Driver prior to the Hatch v2 installation". When I tried installing the driver, I ran into the same blue screen again. I then tried installing Hatch again and this time it installed but then when I tried to restart my computer, I got stuck with getting more blue screens and ended up re-installing Windows again. I just tried to re-install Hatch 2 again and got the blue screen again. I tried a restart of my computer, and it restarted fine. I also waited for my files to sync this time, so that I can be mostly sure nothing is running in the background.
So, all this leads me to my question...do I try to install the driver again, or should I just try installing Hatch again, or is there something else going on? I have been restarting my computer after I install each update/app and Hatch is the only thing giving me trouble. I am starting to think it was Hatch 2 that was preventing Windows from updating. Is there a compatibility issue with Windows 10 2004? How can I get Hatch installed?
