question-circle Transfer files to the Brother Luminaire

I know it's possible to transfer files from computer to embroidery machine, my question is. If your machine isn't listed (Brother Luminaire XP1) is it possible to add it so this can be done. If not, will there be a future update that will do this?

Hello,
Yes there is. Select a Brother machine > then right click on the hoop icon.
Under the "machine 7 hoop" tab > click "create" listed under machine.
then add your machine name.

Now to add your hoops:
Click "add" under hoop and select any of the hoops listed that you have that fit this machine.

If you have hoops that are not listed:
Click "Create" under hoop.
Name your hoop and size.

NOTE: it's best you set your software to metric and create your hoops using the metric settings rather than US settings as your machine hoops are set to metric internally and US settings can be just an estimate for marketing purposes.

So I don't see the Brother Luminaire in the list of machines I just wanted to try an embroidery design. Very frustrating. I just downloaded the 30 day trial. Trying to decide HATCH or EMBRILLIANCE. :(

Hi Karen,

Is this for Brother Luminaire Innov-is XP1?
The machine name Brother Luminaire may not be on the list but the manual method is available for you to use.

Select a Brother machine > then right click on the hoop icon.
Under the "machine & hoop" tab > click "create" button located under the machine drop down list.
then add your machine name.
Select the Machine Type from the two options provided.
