file While digitizing make items appear last not on the top

While digitizing how do I make my stitches appear on top of what I am working on or last in the sequence. They usually appear at the top which is below what I am working on. I have tried to find the answer but I just get how to sequence items. I want to know how to make my lines appear last or on top of what I am trying to put it on. Sometimes it does and sometimes not so not sure what I am doing to make it appear on top when it happens.

Hello,
I'm not sure I'm clear on what you are trying to do because my initial reply would be to resequence the object using the Sequence docker. But you mentioned that sequence is not what you want to do. Maybe you could post the design or a picture of what is wrong and we can help you from seeing the results. Normally if you want an object to stitch on top of another object, you move it down in the sequence docker.
