getting back to it more or less

Doesn't look like too many are using this opportunity to use this program for those who got lost in the shuffle. I don't digitize getting too old for that but do love to embroider. Have some some questions about downloading the designs. so many come in zip files and I can't remember how I opened extracted them without a program. I feel so stupid. I'm in the states. so I'm on different time line. thanks for any help anyone can help refresh me noggen.
