Does anyone have suggestions on where to find hatch embroidery software tutoring for designs from scratch? Trying to cut down on some of the learning curve. :) I want to be able to do designs like what is attached.

Hi,

We may not have a one-on-one service but I strongly recommend joining the Hatch Academy .
"You will learn the basics of using the Hatch Embroidery software as well as many of the more complex techniques."
Here's the link for more details - academy.hatchembroidery.com/

We do have two resellers in the US.
Select Imprints and Digitizing Made Easy - www.digitizingmadeeasy.com/e-classroom/digitizing/
They both have websites.  I'm not sure of the phone support they give, but you could check them out.  They do have clubs, webinars, etc.

There is a lot more in the Gold pass level of the Academy. The projects will walk you through digitizing a design from start to finish. There's even a design in the bonus designs section that has a bee similar to the image you included. I attached it here.

The more designs you digitize, the more you'll learn about how designs are "put together." You'll see that some areas have light fills and others have feathered edges (like the black on your bee body).

One way to learn is to buy designs that have features you want to learn. Then watch them run in in the stitch player. Stitch them out on your machine. Analyze them. You'll begin to see how the digitizer created the effects. If the design is an EMB file, you'll know exactly what properties are used. (The bee on the tote shown here is an EMB file.)

If you don't have the Gold Pass, you'll probably find that it's a lot more cost-effective than a private tutor when you compare the amount of content it includes.
