Hello,
Some machine files are stitch files only. They cannot retain colors. If you are saving to DST or EXP these files only retain color stops. So whatever you open the stitch file in, it will take on the default colors of the application. This is why when you get files from a digitizer, they will also send you a color chart, so you know what order to stitch in. This is also why we tell you to always be sure to save your file first as EMB before saving it to the machine stitch file. If you go to Hatch Academy ( www.academy.hatchembroidery.com > sign in) you will find a lesson with more information on this in the Getting Started series. It is GS-04-02: Saving and Exporting a Design

When I edit an embroidery image in the digitizer and then save it, everything is OK. But when I save the image to my stick, the colors change. For example, I have a glass in black line - it is then green on the stick. With a single color is not bad:)) but with multiple colors I do not know which is now the right one.

Hopefully you have a printer attached. View and check the project in the tool palette under Print Preview - then print it out if necessary.
On my embroidery machine there are only manufacturer thread colors of the machine the appearance on the machine does not correspond to the one in Hatch. But since the order is important, I then decide which yarn is used when.
(Translated from:)

Hello,
When you have a machine that only has manufacture thread colors, it's not possible for a design file to add to the machine. The machine reads a format that does not have the capability to retian colors. That is how some of the commercial and multi-needle machines work. There is nothing Hatch can do to change the machine.
You have two options:
1. Change the colors at the machine using the worksheet from the Hatch file before you saved it to the stitch file. That is why it's important to save your EMB file first before you convert to a stitch file....so you have all the original information. EMB is your working file. The stitch file is your machine file.
or
2. You can just print the worksheet or refer to it on your computer and change the threads according to the color stops.
If you are sending the design to a customer I would print the worksheet and save to PDF and send that along with the design file. That is what you get from other digitizing shops.

Hi, make sure you have attached a printer with the embroidery machine and make sure to check your project in tool palette. I faced the same issue and follow different guides to solve this issue and come along a solution on
embroik.com/
and by following the guide I solved this issue.
